Linkup Logistics Limited (LLL) was established as a wholly owned subsidiary of Linkup Investments Limited, for the purpose of running Distributor Operations for Multinational Companies seeking quality representation and effective distribution of their products in Nigeria. It commenced Business as one of a number of local Distributors of SKF Industrial Bearings but with the proliferation of independent importers and non-regulation of the activities of the registered Distributors, Linkup Logistics exited the business after only 18 Months.

It was later approached by Phillips West Africa to engage in the distribution of their replacement light bulb business. However, their inability to properly regulate the activities of the other Key Distributors, led to LLL’s early exit from this relationship.

With a mandate to operate as one of only four Distributors nationwide for Pernod Ricard Nigeria and one of only 2 Distributors in Lagos, LLL was resuscitated to take advantage of the new opportunity. Today, Linkup Logistics is a significant player in the Alcoholic Beverage Distribution sector, accounting for about 50% of the Pernod Ricard Nigeria business, nationally with an impressive growth rate helped by a better regulated ecosystem.

The strong portfolio of category leading brands from the acclaimed No.2 wines & spirits company in the world, close working relationship, business model and route to market deployed, have all contributed to it’s successful establishment.

Linkup Logistics commenced the distribution of Flour Mills of Nigeria (FMN) products on the 12th of January 2019 and expects, because of the Route-to-Market model (differentiated channels and trade terms), size of territory (Lagos State), channel exclusivity (Modern Retail) and extensive product assortment, to grow this into a significant, profitable line of business going forward.

LLL is the 3PL Service provider for Bacardi Martini Nigeria and Redbull Nigeria that handlers warehousing, inventory management and logistics services across Nigeria.
